WE'RE EXPANDING
AGAIN ! !
In December of 2009, to grow
to fit increasing demand, a construction project broke ground
for a new addition. The project is set to be done in April, so
excuse our dust for the time being!

The Nicolet Medical and Dental
Clinic started out in 1978 by remodeling the Loyal Forest Grade
School. At that time, the clinic was a satellite of Community
Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls and the clinic consisted of
four medical exam rooms and two dental operatories. In 1995,
a new state of the art clinic was built and the Loyal Forest
Grade School was then demolished.
In 2000, a
building expansion project doubled the size of our facility in
order to meet the ongoing increased demand for services. We continue
to assess the needs of our patients and service area in order
to best meet their health care needs.

Our nurses' stations with state
of the art technology allowing for computerized scheduling, patient
registration, and check out. These computer processes are the
building steps toward electronic medical records.
Procedure rooms , are equipped
with crash cart, ECG machine, defibrillator, and sterilized pre-packaged
instruments and supplies.
Our X-Ray technicians have
the ability to scan a film and FAX it to the radiologist for
a STAT reading. In 15 minutes, a typed report will be returned
with diagnosis.

Tammy, CMA, performs one of the
many lab tests done in-house. Results are immediatley available
for complete blood counts, cholesterol, hemoglobin A1Cs, glucose,
sed rates, strep tests, mono tests, pregnancy tests and urines.
All other lab specimens are picked up by a courier and taken
to Bellin Lab for tests to be performed. Results are returned
by FAX in a confidential locked area. |

Our Dental Clinic includes
five state of the art computerized operatories, each fully equipped
to perform all necessary procedures, including x-rays. Ted Jung,
DDS reviews x-rays prior to treament.
Individual sterilized and sealed
trays, with all needed hand pieces and supplies, are set up for
each patient and stored in the cabinets in our sterilization
room. |

Stacey, the hygienist, introduces
Maya & Rayna to Dudley, a stuffed animal used as a tool to
teach children how to brush their teeth. Learning can be fun
when you have Stacey as your provider. |

Dental Hygienist Rooms are
equipped with Cavitron Jet, Prophy Jet, a readily available computer
with Electronic Dental Records System and all equipment necessary
to perform hygienist work.
Chairside assistant Becky is
able to enter perio charting, exam charting, prescriptions, treatment
estimates, patient eduction and scheduling using the computer
right in the dental operatory. |
